East Norwich is the crossroads hamlet where 25A meets 106 on the way to Oyster Bay — a small commercial center and wooded residential streets on every side. The housing is mostly 1950s and '60s ranches and splits on the streets off Route 25A, larger Colonials on wooded half-acre lots toward Muttontown, and older homes near the East Norwich crossroads, and the blocks around the East Norwich crossroads at 25A and 106 and the Muttontown Preserve each light up a little differently in December.
