Napeague is the narrow isthmus between Amagansett and Montauk — dunes on both sides, state park land, and a scattering of homes on the ocean and the harbor. The housing is mostly oceanfront and dune-side homes off Old Montauk Highway, bay-front homes on Napeague Harbor, and a handful of year-round homes among the motels and state park land, and the blocks around Napeague Harbor and the Napeague stretch of Montauk Highway each light up a little differently in December.
