East Quogue is the year-round hamlet east of Quogue — a working Main Street, bay-front streets running to Shinnecock Bay, and wooded pine-barrens lots to the north. The housing is mostly bay-front and creek-front homes on Shinnecock Bay, 1960s and '70s ranches and Capes on the wooded lots north of Montauk Highway, and newer shingle-style homes in the Pine Neck section, and the blocks around Shinnecock Bay and Pine Neck each light up a little differently in December.

Here's what we've learned lighting East Quogue: homes facing the water near Shinnecock Bay get sealed connections and wind-rated clips on that side; the street side gets the same product so the display ages evenly. Open bay exposure means steady wind off the water and salt air that corrodes cheap connections in a single season. So we install sealed connections, corrosion-resistant clips, and wind-rated attachment on the water-facing eaves as standard.
