In January we pull the stakes and coil the wiring, or leave a permanent setup in place if you'd rather keep it.

The walk is the part of a Old Field display people actually use, so we design it for feet as well as eyes. Steps get a fixture at each grade change, curves get one at each turn, and driveways near the Old Field Lighthouse get evenly spaced stakes the full length. Everything is sealed, staked for frost, and set to come on at dusk.
